Life insurance

A lump sum benefit payable in the event of death of the employee due to any cause whilst in service with the employer, subject to the exclusions below.

Benefit level is two times basic annual salary, plus USD 5,000 for funeral expenses.

Total permanent disability

A lump sum benefit payable in the event of the total permanent and irreversible disability of the  employee such that the life insured will be unable to perform any gainful occupation in the future and is registered disabled.

Benefit level is two times basic annual salary.

Accidental death and dismemberment

A lump sum benefit payable in the event of an  employee becoming dismembered as a result of an accident. A percentage of the principal sum is paid depending on the dismemberment. 100% of benefit is paid in the event of death by accident.

Beneficiary forms

In the event of a claim your benefit will be paid in accordance with your beneficiary form, please ensure that your HR department holds an up to date copy of this.  If you need a copy you can find one here, alternatively these will be held by your HR department.
