How do I make a claim?

Developed by leading security and medical experts it provides you with up-to-date travel information, advice and real-time alerts on breaking news globally. The emergency feature provides an email alert function to your emergency contact and a lifeline to specialist medical and security assistance 24 hours a day. In addition, you can use the app to view pre-trip advice and country profiles for comprehensive travel safety information, as well as secure personal travel document storage.

In the profile and documents section you can save a photo of the front page of your policy schedule, thus providing you with access to your Pulse policy number in the event of an emergency. You can also store personal information such as name, D.O.B, and passport number. This data is stored solely on your device and will be deleted if you uninstall the app. There is also the option to set a personal PIN to protect these documents. 

Policy terms

Failure to contact the insurer and obtain authorisation may prejudice the claim and could mean that some or all of the costs involved may not be paid by the insurers. The assured and the insured person should not attempt to find their own solution and then expect full reimbursement from the underwriters without prior approval having been obtained.

Please note that any loss or theft MUST be reported to the police within 48 hours of the incident as failure to do so will result in the claim being denied as per the terms and conditions of the policy.
