UK and international healthcare cover

Your medical insurance is provided by Generali.

Your customised healthcare cover options are: Select, Elite, Dental 6 and Vision 2. This comprehensive coverage includes medical treatment within the UK and overseas excluding the USA, unless you are based in the USA.

Some of the highlights of this scheme include benefits such as coverage for both in-patient and out-patient treatment, routine dental treatment, optical treatment, repatriation and medical evacuation, online GP services, prescribed drugs and dressings, vaccinations, an employee assistance programme (EAP) and an annual health check worth up to £795 per year.

Nuffield Health centres

The customised cover includes an annual health check worth up to £795 per year. Generali has Nuffield Health centres in their network all over the UK through their partnership with Healix. The below clinics have been approved for direct billing arrangements:

  • Nuffield Health medical centre, West End
  • Nuffield Health city gym

If you wish to book a health check  you will need to contact the clinic directly. Healix will then confirm the dates.

How do I make a claim?

Before any treatment please refer to the benefit brochure which will confirm if you require pre-authorisation – claims that need pre-authorisation are highlighted with a telephone symbol within the brochure. Members based in the UK will receive two cards from Generali. For treatment inside the UK members will need to present the card referencing Healix, for treatment outside the UK members will need to present their current Generali card. We recommend that both cards are carried with you at all times to ensure smooth access to hospitals and medical facilities.

Some claims maybe settled directly with Generali, however, if direct settlement is not available you can claim via reimbursement in one of the following ways:
